UK RATINGS: Broadchurch Still Tops Monday Night Shows After Five Weeks



More than halfway through the third series of Broadchurch, the show is still riding high in the weekly ratings and was the most watched programme once again last night.

There were 7.12 million viewers watching episode five of Broadchurch, 32.6% of those watching TV at the time. Meanwhile 2.31m (10.8%) watched BBC One's special Brexit edition of Question Time and 2.15m (9.8%) chose Amazing Hotels: Life Beyond the Lobby on BBC Two. Channel 4's 24 Hours in A&E attracted 1.6m (7.1%), while on Channel 5, Inside King's Cross brought in 0.92m (4.6%). 

The award-winning crime drama Broadchurch is back for its final series with David Tennant and Olivia Colman reprising their roles as Detectives Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller. When a woman presents at Broadchurch police station disclosing a violent sexual assault, the mismatched cops embark on a hunt for the perpetrator. Julie Hesmondhalgh, Lenny Henry and Charlie Higson co-star.
